What should I do if I forgot my user ID or password?
If you have an e-mail address: On the log-on page, click on the link labeled "Forget your password?" Another page will display. Enter your e-mail address. If the e-mail address is on file for the student number, your account information will be e-mailed to you. If you are unable to reset your password after completing these steps, contact the CGHS Parent Center.
How do I sign up?
Complete the registration form available above. You must return this form in person to allow the school to verify your identity. (Paper copies of the form are available in the CGHS Parent Center, the Student Support Center, the Front Office, and the Attendance Desk.) A few days after returning the form, you will receive an email with the URL for the Parent Portal and directions for activating your account.
What is required (software/computer) to connect to the Parent Portal?
Get to the portal from GCPS' website (www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us) by clicking on the Parent tab in the upper right corner of the home page.
What if I completed the paper application but never completed the online part of the registration process?
Contact the CGHS Parent Center at (770) 822-6540 or firstname.lastname@example.org to receive another activation link, necessary to complete the online part of the registration process.
I didn't receive the activation link. What should I do?

How can I get help navigating the portal?
One of the best ways to learn your way around a website is to visit the site and explore it at your own pace. You can also contact the CGHS Parent Center to receive parent assistance and information on parent portal workshops.
What do I do if I am unable to connect to the Parent Portal?
First, check to ensure that your Internet service is working properly.
Next, validate that you are using the correct user ID (email) and password and URL (go2.gwinnett.k12.ga.us).
If you are still unable to connect, contact CGHS.
What do I do if I have a question about a class grade?
It is always best to contact your child's teacher. You can e-mail your child's teacher through the portal.
I registered for the Parent Portal and had access last year. Do I need to register again for the new school year? Do I need to re-register if my child moves from one Gwinnett school to another school in GCPS?
No. Once you have registered on the Parent Portal for access to your student's records, you will remain registered throughout your student's educational career in Gwinnett schools.
